"The world around us is changing at an extraordinary pace generating great confusion, uncertainty and pretence. The urgent question before us: Is there an intelligence that will enable us to stand alone and meet all challenges without fear, with love, and with total integrity? The meet is about unfolding this question through friendly, yet radical and transformative dialogues, in an effort to create space for absorption, assimilation and deepening of insights generated." - Rajesh Dalal Life Lab Click below to read more about Rajesh Dalal and his association with Krishnamurti foundation. Rajesh Dalal : an introduction.Rajesh Dalal graduated from IIT Kanpur as a Chemical Engineer in 1975. However, it was clear to him by then that his primary concern was “human transformation”. He had studied at depth, thoughts of leading psychologists, philosophers and educators from the West. His thirst for fundamental enquiry led him to Eastern religion, Yoga and the teachings of spiritual traditions like Vedanta, Zen and Sufism. He relentlessly sought the answers to the countless questions that plagued the human mind. However, encounters with Shri J.Krishnamurti’s writings in 1971 and later with the man himself, altered his whole inner direction. He realized with certainty that he was on a wrong course. The answer he sought could not come from outside but by facing the problem within. Intelligence within had been awakened and with that a growing confidence to meet all challenges of life. By the time he finished his studies, he effortlessly side stepped the expectations and pressures of his family and peer group. Instead of seeking security and success in a lucrative engineering job, he opted to join the Krishnamurti Foundation on a risky, untrodden path of learning and sharing. Moved by his commitment and passion, Krishnamurti made him a trustee of the Foundation and invited Rajesh to travel with him in India. For ten years during these travels, they had intimate and challenging conversations on “What is the human potential and what is limiting each one of us?” This was not an intellectual enquiry. It came from the depth of a quest and countless spiritual experiences and insights flowed out of it and continue to do so. It is this journey that he shares with his audience. Rajesh has held important executive and educational responsibilities for the Krishnamurti Foundation and its centres and has been connected with innovative educational Forums and Projects in the past. He has now given up all roles and is totally concerned with only one challenge – facing and helping individuals face fundamental questions we habitually dodge because we do not know what to do with them. He has travelled widely, in India and abroad, holding retreats, talks and dialogues on existential issues. He does this work in a spirit of friendship and with a concern for the predicament facing all of us.
